Getting to the Assets Tab

The assets tab is where Maxmail stores all your images, RSS feeds, watcher pages, dynamic content blocks, landing pages and many other important bits that you will need through your email marketing campaigns.

You can access it by going to the Assets tab in the top navigation bar.

The purpose of attachments

The attachment section allows you to add a file attachment to your email campaigns but in a way that does not affect the deliverability of your emails and makes the "download" of your attached file trackable.

Before you can add a file attachment, you need to upload it in the Assets section.

The file must not be more than 10Mb in size.

Supported file format: pdf, txt, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, jpg, gif, png, jpeg, bmp ,mp3 ,wav

Adding a file attachment inside an email campaign

The only way to attach a file in Maxmail is by creating a link to it.

Inserting a file attachment link is really simple.

While inside the campaign editor (either drag and drop or the HTML editor) you need to first highlight the piece of text you'd like to be linked to your file.

Then you can use the "Smart Tags" drop down box to locate the file attachment links section, click on the file you wish to attach and Maxmail will automatically insert the link to the selected text.
